Support
Ask Daniel Brain is a ChatGPT plugin that answers questions about my work, with citations, from my resume, posts, talks, patents, press coverage and open-source code. It also has a browsable library with a talk player, briefings, update notifications and a way to message me.
Getting help
- Problems or questions: email [email protected]. Say what you asked ChatGPT and what went wrong, and include a screenshot if you can.
- Bug reports: if you have a GitHub account, you can open an issue at github.com/bluepnume/daniel-brain-resume, where the plugin's code lives.
- Messages for me: in ChatGPT, say “I'd like to send Daniel a message.” Only the message is required; add your email if you'd like a reply.
Common questions
- How do I open the library? Click the Ask Daniel Brain icon in ChatGPT's left bar, or ask ChatGPT to open the Ask Daniel Brain library. Its Tour shows everything the plugin can do.
- How do I get notified of updates? Switch ChatGPT to Work, then ask it to subscribe to my updates. In a regular chat, ChatGPT checks once an hour instead.
- Where do answers come from? Only from my published material, which every answer cites. If something isn't covered, ChatGPT should say so rather than guess.
- What does the plugin keep about me? See the privacy policy.
